Izbrane teme sodobne fizike in matematike
Članek predstavi osnove perkolacije in na preprostih primerih prikaže ključne pojme, s katerimi si olajšamo opis sistemov s faznimi prehodi, ki bi bili drugače morda prezahtevni za obravnavo. Proti koncu članka so prikazani konkretni zgledi uporabe teorije perkolacije, urejanje celic v žilni sistem in opazovanje obnašanja vremenskega sistema.
The article presents basics of percolation theory and uses simple examples to demonstrate concepts that enable a description of systems with phase trasitions that would otherwise be too difficult to deal with. Real world examples of percolation theory usage are described in the latter part of the article, specifically cell growth ordering and weather system analysis.
