Atmosfere eksoplanetov

Raziskovanje atmosfer planetov okoli drugih zvezd — eksoplanetov — je ena najbolj aktualnih tem današnje astronomije. V tem članku je predstavljena definicija in nastanek atmosfer, njihova obstojnost, to, kako atmosfere vplivajo na temperaturne razmere eksoplanetov ter odkrivanje sestave in lastnosti atmosfer eksoplanetov s pomočjo vesoljskega teleskopa James Webb.

Exoplanet atmospheres

The study of the atmospheres of planets orbiting other stars — exoplanets — is one of the most active fields in modern astronomy. This article presents the definition and formation of atmospheres, their stability, how they affect the temperature conditions on exoplanets, and how the James Webb Space Telescope is used to detect the composition and properties of exoplanet atmospheres.
