Rešitev za permutacijski problem iskanja števila vzponov v permutacijah podajajo eulerska števila. V članku so predstavljene njihova rekurzija, Worpitzkyjeva identiteta ter povezava s Stirlingovimi števili druge vrste. Na koncu so predstavljeni še eulerski polinomi in njihova rekurzija.
The solution to the permutation problem of finding the number of ascents in permutations is given by Eulerian numbers. The article presents their recursion, the Worpitzky’s identity and the connection with Stirling numbers of the second kind. Finally, the article presents the Eulerian polynomials and their recurrence relation.
